Projekt AEQUALIS-4-TCLF: Addressing Skills Gaps in the European Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear Industries, Emphasizing Equality, Innovation, and Resilience (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-PI-ALL INNO – 101139988).
The project focuses on closing skills gaps in the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) industries across the European Union, with an emphasis on equity, innovation, and resilience. Similar to the METASKILLS4TCLF initiative, AEQUALIS4TCLF will support broader geographical cooperation and help anticipate and respond to emerging skills gaps through innovative, multi-level educational resources. Collaboration with partners in Eastern and Northern Europe contributes to a sustainable and forward-looking future for the textile sector, highlighting upskilling efforts and the creation of a network of education providers. AEQUALIS develops new skills strategies in eight countries and promotes diversity within the TCLF industries.
In addition, the project will highlight equity within the sectors and address the specific needs of migrant workers in several countries. It will involve key stakeholders such as industry representatives, chambers of commerce, employers’ associations, and higher-education and vocational-training providers from eight European countries.
