Project WireTex (1. 10. 2023 – 30. 9. 2024) focuses on recognizing the current level of knowledge among young generations involved in educational processes VAT and HEI levels of textile education. The project gains insights into current knowledge in weaving, knitting, confectioning, and spinning. Recognition of existing knowledge among young generations takes place in Slovenia and Germany. Throughout the project, a collection of video content on textile technological knowledge is being developed, along with creating a comprehensive set of educational materials freely accessible to stakeholders in the industry, educational institutions, young individuals in educational processes, and all other interested parties. The project aims to increase the attractiveness of vocational education in textiles, while simultaneously identifying the needs and challenges of the textile industry.
