Project AEQUALIS has been running for six months now, during which time we have successfully completed numerous tasks and overcome various challenges.
This was followed by data collection on the implementation of educational programs in the fields of textiles, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) followed. This survey was conducted in all 8 partner countries, including Slovenia. We reviewed all higher education (HE) and vocational education and training (VET) programs in Slovenia.
The collected data is crucial for understanding the current state of educational programs and the needs of the TCLF industry. The initiative to transform educational systems in the textile sector, both in partner countries and in Slovenia, will be based on the gathered data.
The next step was to create a detailed online survey for companies, organizations, and educational institutions. The survey was translated into the languages of the partner countries, including Slovenian. With the survey, we aim to identify the trends, skills, and knowledge that stakeholders in the TCLF industry believe are necessary for a successful and resilient TCLF industry in the future.
During the summer, we will distribute the survey to textile companies, representatives of educational institutions, organizations, and sectoral associations.
