As part of the Skills4Circularity project, we participated in the 2nd Consortium Meeting in Izmir, Türkiye, hosted by Ege University.
During two intensive and highly productive days, together with partners from across Europe, we made significant progress in developing educational programmes to address current skills gaps in the field of the circular economy, focusing on recycling, eco-design, and sustainable manufacturing, as well as in shaping a micro-credential system to promote education in sustainable and digital competences.
These activities are helping to shape the future of the textile industry by identifying future skills needs and emerging occupational profiles that will support the sector’s sustainable transition.
A big thank you to Ege University for hosting the meeting and to all project partners, especially UPC – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, for the excellent collaboration and coordination.
